Why We Must Move Along Calmly…

You might hear people talk about being obsessed with their goals. They say you should be all in on where you want to go. But getting so obsessed that you become desperate is a bad spot to be in.

Here's why:

When you're desperate, your brain doesn't work right. You start making bad choices. You might miss important details that could help you. It's like your brain is too busy panicking to think straight. This is part of what's known as the "desperation loop." In this cycle, feelings of desperation lead to hasty, poorly thought-out actions, which result in negative outcomes. These bad outcomes then intensify your desperation, perpetuating the loop and making it harder to adopt a calm and measured approach.

Being calm helps you more than being stressed out.

Desperation also pushes people away. When you're always stressed and worried, others don't want to be around you. This can make it harder to get help or find opportunities. Desperation is not attractive; calm confidence is.

If you're always desperate, you start to think everything will go wrong. And weirdly, this can actually make bad things happen. It's like you're setting yourself up to fail without realizing it.

But when you stay calm and just keep working towards what you want, good things happen. You think better. People like being around you more. You even enjoy what you're doing. Breaking out of the desperation loop and maintaining calm composure allows you to make better decisions, attract positive interactions, and create more opportunities for success.

A good quote to go along with this message is “slow is smooth, smooth is fast”…

Money doesn’t like desperation.

Love doesn’t like desperation.

Success doesn’t like desperation.

Desperation creates an aura of scarcity and panic that repels rather than attracts. By moving along calmly, you open yourself up to the flow of positive experiences and opportunities.
